Fee structure and how it works

  • For assignments upwards of $200.00, an upfront payment of 25% is required for new clients.

 

  • Established clients are billed monthly.

 

  • Payment: Preferred method is via Electronic Funds Transfer.  If you do not have this facility available, other ways to pay can be discussed.

 

  • Fees range from $40.00 per hour for basic clerical and secretarial tasks.

 

  • Transcription starts from $45.00 per recorded hour.  

 

  • Copy Editing and Proof reading (manuscripts, theses, etc.) are arranged by consultation, starting at $60.00 per hour.

 

  • Editorial and commercial copy for newspapers & magazines, radio & television - Initial consultation $60.00.  Fees will then be negotiated depending on your requirements.

 

  • Workshop Design and Facilitation - from $200.00 per hour.

 

All Fees to be set after initial consultation and agreement. You will be provided with a Work Order Agreement which includes the following:

  • A detailed description of the work to be carried out.

 

  • A time frame regarding aspects of the job.

 

  • A date for completion of contract.

 

  • A clause which allows for contingencies (if more work is required or your needs change) which may result in more (or less) time, therefore fees will need to be re-negotiated.
